Pantcho Roussev
Managing Director
I founded Promathics in 2016 in Frankfurt am Main, the financial centre of Germany. The company is located today in Sofia, Bulgaria. After an MBA graduation from the RWTH Aachen University I began my consulting career at PricewaterhouseCoopers followed by a managing consultant position within a medium-sized consulting company in Germany. I delivered regulatory reporting and business intelligence services for international banks and carriers in Europe. I co-founded a new business intelligence division and was responsible for the product development and customer implementation of a MicroStrategy based software solution for the market discipline (banking supervision). Later on, I worked many years for leading banks and energy traders as an independent business intelligence solution developer within projects involved across Frankfurt, Essen, London, Sofia, Moscow, New York, Jersey, Delaware. I own several certifications in information technology, risk & project management and data science (MicroStrategy, TDWI, SAP HANA, GARP, PMI, HDM).

Career
There is no alternative to well-rehearsed patterns of thought and action. Diversity demands new leadership and vice versa. The more hierarchical and “simple-minded” a company was run, the greater the reservations to open up to new working and leadership cultures. This is how Manager Magazine Diversity defines it. And no one summarized it up better than Apple founder Steve Jobs: “It makes no sense to hire bright minds and then tell them what they have to do. We hire bright minds to tell us what to do.”
