German Sustainability Code (CSR)
The Sustainability Code
The Sustainability Code provides a framework for reporting non-financial performance and can be used by all organizations and enterprises regardless of their size or legal structure. The Code can be used worldwide, as it is not dependent on a company’s registered location.
The CSR Visualization Dashboard graphically summarizes basic information about companies and institutions that have issued a Declarations of Conformity with the German Sustainability Code. The Proof of Concept arose from the cooperation with the Sustainability Code from Berlin. The main visualizations are a map, sunburst, bar chart and heatmap. In addition, the Dashboard offers filter options between the diagrams to for an interactive analysis. This allows also for comparative analysis, such as benchmarking to a particular industry or company size. During the technical implementation Mr. Volker Kirstein, Principal Consultant Business Analytics, played a decisive role. The Dashboard technology is based on MicroStrategy 10 Secure Enterprise™.
The CSR visualization Dashboard is aimed at all interested users who want to get an overview of the status of the CSR implementation without going into the individual reports in detail. The goal is to develop an interactive dashboard on an open data topic to show new analysis possibilities with the help of visualizations about the dimensions time, location and industry of the companies. In the medium term, further functions are planned, for example in the area of text search.
